2026 Gillette Thunder Speedway Mini Bomber Rules
Attention Mini Bomber drivers. This year the class will be IMCA sanctioned receiving sport compact points each race. Track rules from last year will be still in effect for 2026, in 2027 full IMCA sport compact rules will apply. You will have to buy a IMCA sport compact driver license through IMCA to race this season.
Any car/truck/van that is 4cyl or 6 cly. No turbo or superchargers allowed. Front or rear wheel drive only, no AWD. Street tires only, no studded snow tires allowed. Take all the glass out, all headlights/taillights/ and any other marker light needs to be removed. Helmet and safety gear, come race.
Roll bars consist of hoop around driver and 2 lateral supports going forward or backward (made from at least 1.5” tubing x .095 wall).
Every driver is required to have a raceciever that works and will be asked to bring them to pit meeting for verification. All GTS track rules are posted at the pit shack. All cars need to be inspected before racing at the tech shed by Ed or Matt.
